February 26, 2010 - David Lesh will be addressing the CAL Lab group in Chicago IL to present on purchasing high technologies for the dental laboratory. David’s presentation will cover all aspects of the purchasing decision laboratory owners and managers face today including the how to look at factors that could influence the buying decision, the effects new technology has on different business models, calculating profitability and successful integration of technology into the lab environment.
Today’s dental lab owners are faced with a variety of choices in purchasing new technology. From fully integrated systems to produce branded products to third party scanners, software packages and output devices. Laboratory owners my carefully consider the impact of their decisions on the business model they have for their lab, financial implications and risk, and sales and profitability scenarios and forecasts.

David Lesh started Dale Dental in 2000 as a high-tech center-of-excellence focused on providing understructures exclusively to dental labs. David grew up in the dental lab industry and since starting Dale has since gained valuable first-hand experience working with all of the latest technologies in CAD/CAM and material science. David has an in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing technologies in dentistry as well as the dental marketplace. David’s past experience includes technical and managerial capacities in various labs, as well as marketing consultation to other industries. In addition to high-technology, David has also lectured on trends in the dental industry through his State of the Industry and State of Technoloy presentations as well as FDA GMP compliance and ISO 9001:2000 compliance and certification for the dental laboratory. David resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife and three children.
